Manuscript
submissions and all correspondence relating to the Urban Public
Economics Review should be

Papers should be
in PDF, WORD, RTF format. During the online submission, you will be
prompted to enter the
article title, author(s), keywords, JEL classification codes and abstract.
Manuscripts should
be written in English or Spanish. They should be unpublished originals
currently not
submitted for publication at any other journal. UPER will acknowledge
receipt of
manuscripts at the end of the online submission process.
Manuscripts must be single-sided and double-spaced (including references and
endnotes).
All pages should
be
numbered and the title, author and institutional affiliation should be
presented
on the first page. And abstract of up to 150 words should be included.
Papers
should be succinctly written and not normally exceed 30 A4 pages. Very
long papers
will not be considered.
Papers will not be
considered if they have already been published or are in the process of
being published elsewhere. They will be published only if the data used in the study
are documented and
available to researchers for replication. Details of computations
sufficient to allow
replication should be supplied.
It is a condition
of publication of articles in the Urban Public Economics Review that
copyright on any
article published is transferred to the Publishers.
UPER is committed
to a prompt turnaround of submissions. No more than four months should
pass between
receipt of a paper and the editor´s decision of acceptance, revision or
rejection.
Sections, figures
and tables should be titled and numbered consecutively in Arabic numerals.
Mathematical and statistical formulations should be right-justified,
and using Arabic numerals.
Footnotes should be
located at the end of the manuscript and listed by consecutive Arabic numerals.
References in the
text should be made by providing the author´s surname followed by the
publication
year in parentheses (distinguishing a,b, etc if there are several
contributions corresponding to
the same author, and year).
If paper is
accepted for publication authors are requested to provide a printed
copy of the accepted paper.
